Summer 2011 brings a variety of fashion trends to life. You will soon see everyone from reality stars to the girl next door sporting these up and coming trends. Be sure to hit the mall soon and stock up on some of these popular favorites.
One in item for the summer is feathers. More feathers will be seen on actual skirts and dresses. If this trend is a little much for you, try just adding a touch of feathers to your outfit by wearing feather earrings or a feather necklace. Mock peacock feathers can look especially pretty in the warm weather.
Biker chic will also be a hot look this summer. Spice up your wardrobe with tight leather mini skirts, funky leather heels and cuff braclets. More tops will be on the shelves that have all sorts of rips and shreds in them. A studded handbag can be a nice accessory if you are rocking this look.
Bright, bright neon colors as loud as 80s colors are back in. You can wear this trend in a few different ways. A hot pink or neon orange sun dress with toned down accessories can make for a fashionable look. If you are not as daring you can reverse the trend by sticking to your typical black or white dress, but adding neon earrings or a bright raspberry colored bag for a burst of color. Just be sure not to mix too many neon colors together. Wearing green neon shorts, an orange neon top and hot pink heels can leave you looking like a spilled box of crayons instead of a fashion do.
